Good news for Pakistanis seeking employment in Europe

ISLAMABAD – Germany has announced to import maximum skilled manpower fromPakistan under vision 2020.

Mr. Martin Kobler, German Ambassador to Pakistan revealed while meetingSpecial Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis & Human ResourceDevelopment, Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari.

Both discuss investment opportunities in Pakistan and to carve out a planto provide technical and vocational training to Pakistani youth.

Usman Dar, the Advisor to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, alsoattended the meeting. German Ambassador said that Germany is looking toimport manpower by 2020.

In this drive of employing foreign human resources, Pakistan can prove tobe an important contributor. The plan of action was agreed upon to providetechnical and professional education to workforce in Pakistan so that theycan get maximum quota in 2020 manpower import plan of Germany.

According to details, Germany showed interest in a role to increasetechnological skills in youth. The need to increase cooperation on federaland provincial level was emphasized during the meeting.

On this occasion, Zulfikar Bukhari said that it is difficult to competewith the world on the basis of traditional education that is being providedin Pakistan at this point in time.

However, with the cooperation of Germany, Pakistan will be able to enhanceits human capital.
