ISLAMABAD: Indian troops killed four Kashmiri youth in Indian Occupied Kashmir’s (IoK) area of Pulwama district on Saturday.
The Kashmiri youth were killed at Hanjin Payeen in Rajpora area of the district. The Indian forced killed the Kashmiris during a cordon and search operation. A protest was staged against India’s terrorism of killing the Kashmiris.
In retaliation, pellets and teargas shells were used by the Indian troops to disperse the protesters. This led to a crash between the forces and demonstrators in which several people were injured.
Earlier, the Indian police had also sought to get lethal pepper-ball launching systems and anti-riot gas masks to deal with the anti-India protest. The pepper-ball system when used, contains a powdered chemical that irritates the eyes and nose, similar like the works of a pepper spray. The anti-riot gas mask is used to provide a cover to the nose and eyes from inhaling toxic gases during demonstration.
On December 15, the Indian forces killed 10 Kashmiri youth in Pulwama district. Over three dozen Kashmiris were also injured when the Indian troops fired at protesters in Kashmir.
