Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Saqib Nisar heard the case regarding verification of the degrees of pilots and cabin crew of Pakistan International Airlines at Lahore Registry of Supreme Court on Friday.
During the hearing, Civil Aviation Authority presented an initial report according to which degrees of seven pilots have been found fake, while five cabin crew members are found under matriculation.
The report also stated that fifty officers have been suspended after providing degrees for verification.
Meanwhile, hearing another case regarding the illegal allotment and occupation of Railways lands, the Chief Justice ordered all High Courts and sub-ordinate courts to dispose of all Railways related cases within next two months.
He said that leasing of railways land to Royal Palm Country Club in Lahore was an illegal act and Auditor General of Pakistan will conduct the forensic audit of Club deal.
