ISLAMABAD – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Media (SAPM) IftikharDurrani urged the media to verify the news before publishing orbroadcasting it.
Talking to media, he asked media persons to file only authentic news itemswithout disclosing their source.Media department exists in each department of the government and theveracity of any news could be checked from the relevant department.He said he was a middle class person and never supported any wrong does orland grabbers.
He said the country was facing difficult situation and government wouldovercome difficulties in support with the government.The country has the earnings of only Rs 5.5 million where as we had to payover Rs 2 trillion per annum interest on debts.Federal Government has to pay provinces their share.
