LAHORE: Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid said on Saturday that if thePakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) wereoffering money to the government, persuading it to drop charges againstthem, Prime Minister Imran Khan must take the nation into confidence.
The minister made the statement while speaking to the media in Lahore.
“Today I am going to make a huge statement if he [Prime Minister Khan]doesn’t get upset. If any of the parties [PPP, PML-N] are offering moneyand if there is any truth in the rumours that a deal is being struckbetween them and Islamabad, the premier must inform the nation,” saidRashid.
Terming Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif “coward” politicians, he insistedthe brothers were trying hard to become heroes in the ongoing corruptionreferences.
