ISLAMABAD – High intensity earthquake jolts several cities of Pakistan onSaturday.
As per media reports, Earthquake tremors were felt in northern Pakistan onSaturday in cities including Lower Dir, Kohat, Mianwali, DI Khan, Sargodha,Islamabad and its surrounding areas.
Tremors were also felt in Upper Dir, Nowshera, Swat and surrounding areas.
The magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 5.8 on the Richter scareand its epicentre was the Hindukush Mountains in Afghanistan.
Earlier, earthquake tremors were felt in Karachi. The magnitude of theearthquake was recorded at 2.9 on the Richter scale and its epicentre was15 kilometres north of Karachi.
