ISLAMABAD – Minister for Information Chaudhry Fawad Hussain says thegovernment is keen to further broaden areas of cooperation with Canada formutual benefit of the people of both the countries.
He said this during a meeting with Canadian High Commissioner to IslamabadWendy Christine Gilmour, in Islamabad on Friday.
The Minister said govt firmly believes in freedom of expression andemphasized need for joint efforts by all stakeholders for curbing hatespeech and countering fake news.
The High Commissioner, on the occasion said that she was impressed to seethe metropolitan city as the hub of economic activity.
