ISLAMABAD – Considering the troubles of operating in the aviation industryin Pakistan, Airblue has decided to shift its business to the United Statesof America.
Airblue’s chief executive officer (CEO), Tariq Chaudhary, has registered anairline in the US. This airline will use an Airbus A320 plane which isbeing currently operated by Airblue.
Sources from the aviation industry told ProPakistani that Tariq Chaudharyregistered an aviation company named Airbahn in Irvine, California. Thecompany also booked a website with the URL: link.link
The website currently does not show any details about the airline and isonly showing a message “new website coming soon”. Airbahn also uses thesame font as the Airblue logo.
Sources further said that Airbahn will start its operations in mid-2019 andthe carrier will operate one Airbus A320 aircraft. The seating capacity ofthe aircraft is 174 passengers.
“Airblue will lease its one aircraft to Airbahn to start its operations.The new airline will provide services to Western US and Canada,” the sourceelaborated.
Airblue is operating 8 aircraft and operates across 6 domestic and 7international destinations.
