Pakistan FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi holds meeting with his Omani counterpart in Muscat

ISLAMABAD – Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi held a meeting with hisOmani counterpart Yusuf bin Alawi in Muscat.

They discussed bilateral ties, latest situation of the region andinternational issues.

Both sides reviewed the ways to increase mutual cooperation in varioussectors.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi dilated upon the policy of PrimeMinister of Pakistan for creating exemplary relations with the neighboringcountries.

He said Senate Friendship Group will be made active to increase people topeople contacts between both the countries.

The two Foreign Ministers also held talks at delegation level.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi is leading a 12-member delegation oftechnical experts representing sectors of bilateral cooperation fallingunder the purview of Joint Commission whose 7th Session will be co-chairedby the two Foreign Ministers tomorrow followed by signing ceremony ofbilateral Accords.

During his 3 days visit, Foreign Minister will participate in a receptionfor Pakistani community.
