PESHAWAR – A total of 7,180 police officials including 7,111 policemen and69 female constables have successfully passed out the Elite commandotraining in 15 basic courses conducted from time to time in differenttraining centres.
A dire need was felt in the ongoing war against terror to equip policeofficials to put an effective halt to the menace of terrorism.
Most of the policemen especially the women police voluntarily opted to getthe toughest and sophisticated Elite commandos training.
To achieve this goal, so far 7,111 policemen completed the commandostraining in 15 basic courses. Similarly, 69 female police selected for thesaid training completed the fourth-month rigorous training in two basiccourses by surpassing all different phases of training successfully.
