ISLAMABAD – Meeting of federal cabinet was held in Islamabad on Thursday.
Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired the meeting.
Regarding the decisions taken at the cabinet meeting, Information MinisterFawad Chaudhry said it has been decided to merge Earthquake Reconstructionand Rehabilitation Authority into National Disaster Management Authority.
He said Pakistan is being opened for the world for the first time, withmega changes in visa regime in the coming days.

The Minister said a sum of 58 million dollars has been approved forPakistan Mortgage Refinance Company. This will also ensure finance for NayaPakistan House Scheme of the government.
He said the cabinet approved the steps for constitution of New MediaRegulatory Authority and also asked to hold consultation with journalisticassociations to hear their views.
