ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Cricket Board has expressed regret over the remarkmade by captain Sarfaraz Ahmed and picked up by the stump mic during thesecond ODI against South Africa in Durban.
In its statement, PCB made it clear that it neither endorse nor support anycomments that have the potential to cause offence.
PCB firmly reiterated their zero-tolerance approach towards racist commentsmade; in whatever context.
The PCB endeavor to improve their player’s education programmes to ensuresuch incidents do not happen again.

The statement said Sarfaraz is one of the most respected cricketers in theworld. However, captaining Pakistan is a massive honour and any hurtfulremarks by any cricketer, let alone the captain would not be acceptable tothe PCB.
The PCB said it is confident that this incident will not affect the series,which has been played in great spirit with some excellent performances fromboth side.
