ISLAMABAD – Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Makhdoom KhusroBakhtiyar says completion of all ongoing development projects is the toppriority of Government.
He was addressing a consultative seminar titled ‘Use of Remote SensingSatellite’ in Islamabad on Thursday.
The Minister said use of space technology and applications can help improvegovernance.
He said effective utilization of space science technologies can play animportant role in socio-economic progress.
The Minister said satellite imaging help mapping and monitoring ofdevelopment projects.

He said many countries are taking benefit from space technology where it isbeing used for exploration of minerals, and natural resources and flow ofwater.
On the occasion, Chairman Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commissiongave a briefing about the projects of the Commission. Representatives fromdifferent ministries and departments also participated in the seminar.
