ISLAMABAD – Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, will take oath as the 26th ChiefJustice of Pakistan on Friday in a ceremony, to be held in President HouseIslamabad.
Justice Asif Saeed Khosa being the senior most Judge after the retirementof Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has been elevated to the Chief Justice ofPakistan.
Justice Asif Saeed Khosa was born in 1954 in Dera Ghazi Khan. He receivedMaster of Laws degree from Queens’ College, University of Cambridge, UnitedKingdom in 1978 and worked as a lawyer before joining the Bench in 1998 asJudge of the High Court.
