BAHAWALPUR – The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Monday conducted anoperation on intelligence report in Jhungiwala area near Bahawalpur andarrested three terrorists.
According to CTD spokesperson, the arrested terrorists belonged to a bannedoutfit and were planning to carry out terrorist attacks on sensitiveinstallations in Bahawalpur.
The arrested terrorists were identified as Samiullah, Muhammad Sher andShah Wali. The CTD personnel also recovered explosive material, ballbearings, detonators and other equipment from their possession.
