ISLAMABAD – Pakistan on Sunday expressed concerns about the safety ofHurriyat leader Shabbir Shah amidst reports that he had been attacked andinjured in Indian Tihar Jail.According to Foreign Office spokesman, these reports coming in the backdropof intensified crackdown on Kashmiris and stoning to death of a Pakistaniprisoner Shakirullah in Indian jail increased concern.He urged India to ensure his safety and security of the Kashmiri leader.
