*LAHORE – The joint investigation team (JIT) has summoned former Punjabchief minister Shehbaz Sharif, his son Hamza Shehbaz in the Model Town casetomorrow (Feb 25).*
According to the details garnered, the JIT also issued summons to otherPakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leaders including Abid Sher Ali, KhwajaAsif, Pervaiz Rashid and Chaudhry Nisar. All the political leaders werecalled by the investigation team.
The probe team also issued notice former personal secretary to CM andothers to appear before the probe team and record their statement.Additional IG Iqbal Hasan Shah – who is convener of the JIT – had issuedsummons to the aforementioned political figures.
The JIT has formally begun its investigation into the Model Town incidentthat had claimed over a dozen lives.
