PSL 4: Lahore Qalandars faces a major blow

ISLAMABAD – PSL team Lahore Qalandars suffered another blow on Saturdaywhen its wicket keeper Brendan Taylor was ruled out of remaining matchesdue to an injury.

Taylor was injured during Qalandars’ chase against Multan Sultans on Fridayevening. He was immediately taken off the field and he didn’t return to bat.

Sources reveal that Taylor has a calf muscle tear which is likely to keephim out for four to six weeks. Subsequently, he has been ruled out of theremainder of PSL games.

Qalandars are likely to include Netherlands’ Ryan ten Doeschate to replacehim.

The 38-year-old is currently considered to be among the best playersproduced by a non-Test playing country.
