*BENGALURU: More than 100 vehicles were gutted in a massive fire thaterupted in the parking area near the venue of Aero India 2019 show.*
As per officials, the fire broke out in the dry grass and spread to theparking area near the venue of Aero India show, while the show was takingplace.
The rescue team removed adjacent cars from the parking lot to control thespread of fire, after which the situation was under control. No injuries orany harm to people was reported.
“The most likely cause of the incident is dry grass and fire aided by heavywinds,” said Director General of Police in Karnataka State and Chief ofFire & Emergency Services MN Reddi.

Indian media reported that the cars, which were burnt, belonged to thespectators who had come to see the air show.
