Pakistan Foreign Office responds over Indian state orders for expelling Pakistani nationals

ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office of Pakistan has responded over Indian stateexpelling Pakistani nationals from India.

FO on Tuesday condemned India’s order for visiting Pakistani nationals toleave Rajasthan in 48 hours.

“Indian *peremptory order*linkforvisiting Pakistanis to leave Rajasthan in 48 hours and prohibiting hotelsfrom accommodating them is a condemnable reflection of Indian jingoism andhate mongering spurred on by election histrionics,” said Dr MohammadFaisal, a spokesman for the Foreign Office of Pakistan.

He said the move exposed “sham facade of Indian hospitality and tourismfriendliness”.

“We expect India to comply with inter-state norms, and ensure absolutesafety and security of all Pakistanis there,” the spokesman said.
