RAWALPINDI – The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Amjad JavedSaleemi has notified massive reshuffle in Rawalpindi police.As per notifications, Capt (R) Dost Muhammad, who was serving as SDPOSaddar Faisalabad and promoted tothe rank of SP, was transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent ofPolice (SP) Potohar Division.
The former SP Javed Anwar has been transferred and posted as SP CrimeInvestigation Agency (CIA),Faisalabad.
Another Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Muhammad Ayyaz, who wasserving as SDPO Cannt Circle,has been promoted to the rank of SP and was posted as Additional SP RahimYar Khan.
The IGP Amjad Javed Salimi has promoted ASP Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt tothe rank of SP and posted himas SP Rawal Division.Similarly, Ms Ambreen Ali was posted as SP Internal Accountability Branch,Rawalpindi while SP Muhammad Faisal, who was earlier serving as SP IAB, wastransferred and appointed as SSP Investigation, Rawalpindi, againstan existing vacancy.

Mazhar Iqbal (PSP/BS-17) was also promoted to the rank of SP (BS-18) andhas been posted as SP Saddar Division, Rawalpindi.Muhammad Tahir Maqsood, former SP Saddar, was appointed as Additional SPHeadquarters, Gujranwala,against an existing post.
Meanwhile, Sardar Babar Mumtaz, DSP Punjab Highway Patrol, was transferredand posted as SDPO CanntCircle while Safdar Iqbal, DSP Security (VVIP-II), Rawalpindi, has beentransferred and posted as SDPO Civil Line.
