*HAGUQ, Netherlands – The British report about the passport of the Indianspy Kulbhushan Jhadav was presented in the International Court of Justice(ICJ) on Tuesday.*
In the report, it was stated that the RAW had increased activities inBalochistan after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to the power.
Khawar Qureshi contended that the list of terrorist activities ofKulbhushan Jhadav is very long. “What is the meaning of the consular accesswhen a man is unidentified?” he maintained. The Indian counsel Harish Salvewas baffled by the weighty arguments of Pakistan counsel Khawar Qureshi
Meanwhile, Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Faisal said that Pakistan willnot seek adjournment due to absence of the Pakistan ad hoc judge in thehearing.
The four-day hearing of the case will continue till Thursday and the courtis expected to announce its judgment by the summer this year.
The Pakistani delegation is led by the Attorney General, Anwar MansoorKhan. Pakistan will make its final submission on Thursday.
On Monday, India had argued that Commander Kulbhushan Jadhav is an innocentbusinessman and he is entitled to obtain consular access.
During the hearing, the court asked India to present their arguments on thecase. However, India started arguments with blame game, accusing Pakistanof kidnapping Kulbhushan from Iran. His arguments centred around theArticle 36 of the Vienna Convention.
Meanwhile, in a video message, Foreign Office spokesperson Dr MuhammadFaisal had said that India could not submit any substantial material atInternational Court of Justice in their demand for acquittal of KulbhushanJadhav. He said the Indian side produced nothing new in their submissionbefore the Court. The spokesperson said the India Spy is involved inkilling of thousands of people.
Earlier, Islamabad has presented evidence obtained from Commander Jadhavafter his arrest, and during the criminal process leading to his convictionas amply demonstrating his activities in fomenting terrorism in Pakistan.
