Pakistan Saudi Arabia ink agreements worth 20 billions, highest ever in history of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have signed several agreements andMemorandums of Understanding in different sectors amounting toapproximately $20 billions.

The signing ceremony was held Prime Minister House in Islamabad tonight.

The sectors include cooperation in production of electricity, establishmentof refinery petrochemical plant, promotion of sports and technicalassistance in standardization sector.

Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Muhammad Bin Salman, Prime Minister ofPakistan Imran Khan, ministers of both countries and delegations alsoattended the ceremony.

Later, distinguished guests attended a dinner ceremony hosted by PrimeMinister Imran Khan.

Addressing the ceremony, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Pakistan andSaudi Arabia are enjoying historical relations in different fields.

He said agreements signed between the two countries including enrgy,petrochemical, sports, tourism and other sectors are very important forPakistan.

The Prime Minister thanked Saudi Arabia for commendable assistance forPakistan said that Saudi Arabia has supported Pakistan in all critical anddifficult times.

He said that the investments being carried out by the Saudi Arabia inPakistan are in the interest of both countries.
