ISLAMABAD – The head of department in Bhakkar’s University of Sargodha hasbeen accused of sexual harassment by a female student.
A first information report (FIR) has been registered against the varsity’sMathematics department’s head Sajid Iqbal.
The alleged victim, identified as S*, lodged the complaint through herfather.
According to the FIR, Iqbal used to call students to his university roomwhere he sexually harassed and blackmailed them.

The victim has also made a Facebook page where she released a videostatement against the accused professor.
“Our family has been receiving threats by Sajid Iqbal, owing to this wehave stopped sending our daughter to the university,” Muhammad Yaqoob, thefather of the victim, said.
