British diplomat extremely impressed with Pakistan Motorways Police

ISLAMABAD -British diplomat seems extremely impressed with PakistanMotorway Police, media has reported.

In a letter addressed to DIG Motorway Police Ashfaq Ahmed Khan, MrButcher, Rule of Law Advisor with the UK Government, wrote that hisdiplomatic vehicle broke down last month on the motorway near Sukheki andhe was stranded for nearly four hours.

“But [I] was extremely pleased with the service provided by your fineofficers. From the moment that I contacted your control centre, the arrivalof the mobile workshop personnel and the complete calm and professionalismoffered by your patrol officers, I was thoroughly satisfied with theservice.”

The diplomat further personally thanked officers Asghar Ali and one otherfor their professionalism and for keeping him updated.

Mr Butcher thanked the DIG, saying that he had the gratitude. He alsorequested the DIG to let the officers concerned know how happy he had been.
