DUBAI – The Pakistan Citizen Portal (PCP) app has been shortlisted for anaward at the World Government Summit in Dubai, according to a seniorofficial of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government.
“Pakistan Citizen Portal app is Shortlisted in Best Mobile GovernmentApps,” tweeted KP E-Governance Deputy Director Akif Khan.
“The finalist will be announced in the World Govt Summit in Dubai. On theinvitation of Prime Minister of Dubai, we are will be representing Govt ofPak n KP. For first time any govt app shortlisted,” he added.

The World Government Summit is held each year in Dubai to hold dialogue onpolicies and processes of governance in the context of technology andinnovation.
The prize is expected to be announced on Tuesday.
In October last year, Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated the PakistanCitizen Portal (PCP)— set up at the Prime Minister Office with an aim to“timely address the problems of the people and get their feedback”.
On December 31, the premier announced that the government had resolved over100,000 complaints through the Pakistan Citizen Portal App.
