ISLAMABAD – The government has refuted a story circulated in a section ofthe media about the cut in loan estimates.
It has been clarified that at the time of Annual Budget 2018-19, theEconomic Affairs Division had estimated $4.691 billion of foreign inflowsfrom multilateral and bilateral donors.
However, in view of improved external environment, the Economic AffairsDivision increased the Foreign Economic Assistance Estimates to $5.63billion, 20 percent higher than the original estimates.
