CHRISTCHURCH: A Pakistani man, who attempted to stop the white terroristwho opened fire earlier today at a New Zealand mosque, has succumbed to hisinjuries.
Late Naeem Rashid, who was injured in his bid to overpower the attacker,passed away late Friday night. He hailed from Abbottabad, sources said.link link
Rashid’s son, Talha Naeem, was among those who died in the Al Noor Mosquemass shooting.
Separately, however, five Pakistani citizens were reported missingfollowing the Christchurch attack and among the injured ones were27-year-old Karachi-born Areeb and an elderly man from Hafizabad identifiedas Muhammad Ameen.
According to the Pakistani Foreign Office, the search for those missing wasongoing.
