ISLAMABAD – Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal Friday saidPakistan wanted a peaceful neighborhood, therefore it was doing all-outefforts to maintain peace in the region.
Talking to a private news channel, he said Kartarpur corridor was the firststep to facilitate the minorities living in India and was the start foropening other religious places of minorities in Pakistan.
“In order to maintain peace both sides (India and Pakistan) need to be onthe same page,” he said.
Pakistan wanted comprehensive dialogues with India to move forward forresolving Sir Creek, Siachen glaciers issues and also wantedpeople-to-people contact, trade and an effective SAARC.
However, Dr Faisal said if India did not want to have dialogue withPakistan, they have the right to respond in the same way.
