LONDON – NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has said the future of thealliance’s fifteen-year presence in Afghanistan will depend on the outcomeof peace talks between US officials and Taliban.
Talking to media at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, he said NATO stronglysupports the peace efforts and we welcome the talks.
He said the troop levels also depend on the outcome of the negotiations.
