Entire PSL 2020 to be held in Pakistan, says PM Khan

*ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced that the entire fifthedition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) would take place in Pakistan.*

“Next season of PSL would take place in Pakistan, instead of Dubai,” saidImran Khan, while addressing the inauguration ceremony of online visaissuance on Thursday.

“In Dubai we see empty stadiums, being a cricketer I know how boring it isto play in empty stadiums, so there will be more crowds in Pakistan,” headded.

The PM expressed confidence over the current conditions in Pakistan, sayingthat the country is on a new and peaceful route.

Some eight matches were supposed to be played in Pakistan for the fourthedition of PSL. Lahore was to host three matches, while five matches,including the final of the tournament, was to be played in Karachi.

However, the matches were shifted from Lahore to Karachi due to politicaltensions with India, which led to flight schedule disturbance.
