Khawaja Saad Rafique lands in yet another big trouble

*LAHORE – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to fileanother reference of illegal assets against PML-N MNA Khawaja Saad Rafique.*

Khawaja Saad Rafique is already in the custody of the NAB in the ParagonHousing scam. After approval of the NAB chairman, the reference willprepared against Khawaja Saad Rafique.

Sources said that the NAB had received key evidence against Khawaja SaadRafique.

Earlier, an accountability court extended the judicial remand of PakistanMuslim league-N (PML-N) leaders Khawaja Saad Rafique and Khawaja SalmanRafique in Paragon city case till March 19.

During the hearing, Khawaja Saad and Salman appeared before AccountabilityCourt Judge Saeed Najamul Hassan. They were brought to the court in anarmoured vehicle.

Saad Rafique complained the court that there aren’t any medical treatmentfacility at the jail he has been kept in. “I don’t want to go to hospital,”he said.

The NAB prosecutor said that the anti-graft body needs more time to prepareits report and asked for an extension in the remand of the PML-N leaders.However, the court adjourned the case till March 19.
