ISLAMABAD – High Commissioner of Pakistan in Canada Raza Bashir Tarar urgedthe Canadian investor to avail the opportunity of investment in Pakistan ascountry had a liberal market economy with no restraint on repatriation ofdividends for the foreign investors.The high commissioner said this in a meeting with Canada PakistanAffiliated Chamber of Trade (CPACT) to discuss strategy to facilitate tradecontacts between business platforms of Pakistan and Canada, according to apress release received here Sunday.He informed the businessmen associated with the chamber that improvedsecurity situation and restored macro-economic stability in Pakistan hadcreated a favourable environment for economic growth.The envoy emphasized on developing synergy between the chambers and tradebodies of the two countries to exploit full potential of the economicopportunities.He added that the high commission would work with the Canadian chambers andtrade bodies to develop partnership with their Pakistani counterparts toexplore avenues available to enhance trade relations.President CPACT Tariq Mahmood briefed the high commissioner about theirplans for business development for benefit of Pakistani and Canadiancompanies.
