ANKARA – Turkey says its deal with Russia to buy S-400 missile defencesystems has nothing to do with security of the United States.
In a televised speech at Diyarbakir city, President Recep Tayyip Erdogansaid it is very clear why Turkey has bought this air defence system and howit will be used.
The Turkish President’s comments came a day after Washington warned Ankaraof grave consequences if it goes ahead with the deal.
