RAWALPINDI – Vice Foreign Minister of China Kong Xuanyou called on Chief ofArmy Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Islamabad on Wednesday.

Matters of mutual interest, regional security, bilateral cooperation andcurrent situation between Pakistan and India were discussed at the meeting.

The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for regional peaceand stability.

German Chief of Defence calls on COAS

German Chief of Defence General Eberhard Zorn called on Army Chief GeneralQamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.

They discussed professional issues of mutual interest.

The situation of the region also came under discussion.

General Eberhard Zorn appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for peace andstability in the region.

Upon arrival, a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented aGuard of Honor to the distinguished guest.

The German Chief of Defense also laid flower at the martyrs’ monument.
