*NEW DELHI: A multi-storey building of the Indian Air Force’s offices andother government departments caught fire in New Dehli on Wednesday.*
As per Hindustan Timeslink,several central Indian government offices, including a branch of the IndianAir Force, Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, and Ministry ofForest “operate out of the building”.
A sub-inspector of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) died duringthe incident as he inhaled smoke, the Indian media reported.
Delhi’s chief fire officer Atul Garg said the fire broke out at the PanditDeendayal Antyodaya Bhawan in the CGO complex around 8.30am. Officials saidthe fire was brought under control and cooling operation was under way.
