ISLAMABAD – A 26-year-old citizen got injured on Tuesday when Indian Armyfired in Hot Spring Sector, deliberately targeting civilian population,Inter Services Public Relations(ISPR) said in a statement.

Sharafat son of Abdul Qyuum, is a resident of village Dara Sher Khan.Pakistan Army troops effectively responded to Indian posts, undertaking thefire.

The ISPR, however said that the situation along Line of Control (LOC)remained relatively calm.

In maritime domain, Pakistan Navy (PN) continues its effective vigilanceand alertness. PN detected an Indian Navy Submarine south of Pakistanicoast.

Pakistan Navy’s alert and vigilant presence displayed the capability todeter and safeguard the sea front against any misadventure.

PAF continues its vigilance and state of readiness, the ISPR statementadded.
