LAHORE – Following a controversial statement against the Hindu community,Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan has been removed from his post as Punjab Ministerfor Information and Culture on Tuesday.
According to Dunya News, Punjab government demanded resignation ofProvincial Minister for Information and Culture Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohanover his derrogatory remarks against the Hindu community.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar summoned explanation from theprovincial minister and said that the government was being criticizedfollowing his remarks.
Chohan had earlier said that the Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdarhad not sought resignation from him.
