The spokesperson further said that Navy foiled Indian weapon-ladensubmarine’s effort to remain undetected, which is a failure for the IndianNavy.

“Keeping government’s peace initiative between both countries in mind, Navydid not target the Indian submarine,” the spokesperson asserted, addingthat after November 2016, this is the second time, India tried toinfiltrate Pakistani waters.
“Pakistan Navy is always ready and alert for any external attack orintrusion on the country,” the spokesperson said, adding Navy is completelyready to defend Pakistan.
Learning from this incident, India should also work for peace between bothcountries, the statement further said.
