Indian govt declared full-fledged war against Kashmiris: Gilani

In occupied Kashmir, Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has said the Indian government has declared a full-fledged war on the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement in Srinagar said New Delhi was targeting Muslim majority population in Kashmir the way Israel was doing in Palestine.

The Muttahida Majlis-e-Ulema in its statement today strongly condemned the ban on Jamaat-e-Islami by the Indian government and termed the decision highly undemocratic and unconstitutional.

Meanwhile, three prominent leaders of the Jamaat-e-Islami were arrested and nearly a dozen assets sealed during raids across six districts of Jammu today.

A complete shutdown is being observed today against the detention of two religious clerics from Tral area of Pulwama district by the Indian police during a nocturnal raid.

Chairman of Darul Uloom Noor Ul Islam Maulana Noor Ahmad Trali and Khateeb Jamia Masjid Dardsara, Tral Ghulam Nabi Molvi were detained by police from their residences last night.
