ISLAMABAD – Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir is likely to visitPakistan today as part of his efforts to mediate between Pakistan and Indiaamid the prevailing situation.

This was stated by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi while talking todifferent private TV channels.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said after his return from OIC Summit in Abu Dhabi,the Saudi foreign minister would visit India and later Pakistan today onthe desire of Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.

He said China has also decided to send a special envoy to Pakistan andIndian to meet the leadership of the two countries and help reduce thetension.

The Foreign Minister also invited the UN Secretary General António Guterresto visit Pakistan and the region to mediate.
