Pakistan Military had no option but to retaliate: ISPR

*RAWALPINDI – DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor has said that the Pak Army andthe Pakistan Air Force (PAF) had no option except to respond to Indianaggression.*

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, he said that Pakistan does notwant to push the region to the war. “No one wins a war and only humanityloses. We are a responsible state and want peace.

The war is not a solution to any problem. We do not want to do anythingwhich will prove our irresponsibility,” he said.

He said that India had violated the Line of Control.

DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said that the PAF had selected six targets,locked and attacked them in an open place.

He said that they have arrested three pilots, while another is injured andshifted to CMH.

Dispelling the Indian claims of shooting down a Pakistan F-16, the DG ISPRsaid that Pakistan has not used F-16 in the operation.
