ISLAMABAD – Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) Thursday recommended toappoint Justice (reted) Qazi Muhammad Amin as a Supreme Court Judge.
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Asif Saeed Khosa chaired a meetingof JCP here, which was also attended by Justice Azmat Saeed and JusticeUmer Ata Bandial.
The commission unanimously recommended the name of Qazi Amin forappointment as top court judge.
The recommendation would be sent to the Parliamentary Committee forAppointment of Judges for consideration the name.
It may be mentioned here that Qazi Amin had been serving as judge in LahoreHigh Court (LHC).
