ISLAMABAD – Hashim Amla has often been in the news for not wearing CastleLager – an alcoholic drink manufacturer- logo on his shirt. Muslims aroundthe world have always been a fan of the South African for his humble nature.

Despite being fined a certain portion of his match fee for not donning theshirt with Castle’s logo, Amla has never let it come in the way of hisfaith.

While we have been praising Amla for this, it is pertinent to mention thatPakistani test cricketer, Azhar Ali also follows in the footsteps of HashimAmla. You might ask, Pakistani team does not have any beer company as asponsor.

Well, the 34-year-old plays for Somerset in the county cricket. Tribute, another ale company, is the title and shirt sponsor in addition to beingthe official beer of Somerset. However, Azhar Ali has been seen donningSomerset shirt without Tribute logo at the front.

This year again, the cricketer will be seen playing for Somerset for theentirety of County Championship and One Day Cup.

Other cricketers who denied wearing alcohol companies’ logos include RashidKhan, Imran Tahir, Tabraiz Shamsi, and Fawad Ahmed.
