BAHAWALPUR – The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Wednesday arrestedat least two hardcore terrorists during an operation in Bahwalpur.
According to the reports, the apprehended terrorists include Hikmat Shahand Ahmad Raza belonged to a banned outfit.
It was reported that the hardcore terrorists were arrested during anintelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted at Bahwalpur’s Sadar area.
Meanwhile, the weapons, explosive material, hand grenades and fundscollected for the proscribed organization were recovered from the arrestedterrorists.

They were shifted to undisclosed location for further interrogation. TheCTD officials said that the terrorists were planning to sensitiveinstallations in Bahawalpur.
