ISLAMABAD – The exchange rate of Dollar increased by 30 paisa in interbankand traded at Rs 141.39 against Rs 141.09, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP)reported on Wednesday.However according to Forex Association of Pakistan the open market rate ofDollar closed at Rs143.
The SBP reported that in interbank the price of Euro increased by 98 paisaafter which it was traded at Rs159.02 against 158.04 on last day.
The price of Japanese yen remains unchanged at Rs1.26, while the increaseof Rs 1.90 was witnessed in exchange rate of British Pound which was tradedat Rs 186.21 against 184.31 on last day.
Exchange rates of UAE Dirham and Saudi Rayal increased by 08 paisa eachafter which they were traded at Rs 38.49 and Rs 37.70 against 38.41 and Rs37.62 respectively.
