ISLAMABAD – “Surpassing India and Bangladesh, Pakistan would be the firstcountry in the region to secure membership of Shanghai CooperationOrganization (SCO) Youth Council”,Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Darsaid after a meeting with Additional Secretary Ministry of Foreign AffairsMr. Zahoor Ahmed on Wednesday .

He said that, “Pakistan is going to achieve this distinction as it aims tofocus on socio-political empowerment of its youth by announcing, for thefirst time in its national history, prestigious National Youth Councilcomprising of outstanding youth from all across the country”.

Mr. Muhammad Usman Dar expressed hope that this achievement would greatlybenefit our youth by giving them exposure to the best internationalopportunities aimed at socio-economic development of youth.
