ISLAMABAD – A two-day International Congress on Islamic History, Cultureand Heritage of Kashmir will be held in Islamabad from Thursday.

President Dr. Arif Alvi will inaugurate its opening session.

Experts and scholars from the OIC member states will participate in thisCongress.

The Congress is expected to be attended by about two hundred scholars,diplomats, academia, dignitaries and professionals from the Government ofPakistan and the Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

The main objective of this Congress is to promote the learned awareness andscholarship on the Islamic history and cultural heritage of Azad Jammu andKashmir.
