LAHORE – Met office Thursday forecast rain thunderstorm with dust storm /gusty winds at isolated places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, upperPunjab (Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Lahore divisions),Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Dust raising/gusty winds likely in Sukkur, Hyderabad, Karachi, Dera GhaziKhan, Multan, Bahawalpur and Sahiwal divisions.
According to the synoptic situations, continental air is prevailing overmost parts of the country. A westerly wave is likely to approach westernparts of Balochistan tonight and likely to persist till Saturday (morning).
During the last 24 hours, the weather remained dry in most parts of thecountry. However, light rain/drizzle occurred at one or two places inMalakand division, Islamabad and Gilgit Baltistan.
