ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has responded over Indian claimed Anti SatelliteMissile Test in space.
Pakistan issued a call against military threats in outer space onWednesday, hours after India claimed a space missile test destroying asatellite.
“Space is the common heritage of mankind and every nation has theresponsibility to avoid actions which can lead to the militarisation ofthis arena,” Pakistan’s foreign ministry said in a statement.

“We hope that countries which have in the past strongly condemneddemonstration of similar capabilities by others will be prepared to worktowards developing international instruments to prevent military threatsrelating to outer space,” it said, without mentioning India by name.
